For over 15 years, Herb Alston has excelled as a real estate agent in San Francisco. Herb’s clients and friends often call him “the House Whisperer”.

Herb has a strong background in Commercial Real Estate; leasing out large spaces, assisting in the design and operations of commercial office buildings and other Investment property. In 2006, Herb discovered that a large percentage of his clients who were heavily invested in Real Estate wanted out. This is when he diversified his skills and training and became a Financial Advisor. By obtaining a Series 22, 63 and later a Series 7 Securities licenses, and becoming a Registered Representative with a Broker Dealer as a securities professional. This wealth of knowledge allows Herb opportunity to not only assist my clients in selling their investment property but assist them in selecting options as to where to move the proceeds of those sales.

Through 1031 Exchange an investor may qualify to invest in alternative assets that will remove the active management duties and continue their cashflow. Herb always says, “Buying another property is not your only option.” This is a very detailed process and not every investment property owner may qualify to make this type of transaction however it is fairly easy for Herb to evaluate your situation and let you know whether or not you qualify.
